MEET THE TEAM
3 Cats Racing is a team of five Central Virginia athletes built around a simple belief: fun is fast. Led by head coach Erik Hultgren and General Manager Beth Seliga, the program blends experience, heart, and a fresh approach to junior development.
Beth Seliga co-founded what became EF Cycling, and Erik Hultgren previously led the legendary Team 5280 junior squad, guiding riders to multiple national titles.
Together, they’ve created a coaching environment that’s supportive, competitive, and grounded in real-world goals.
The 3 Cats coaching program focuses on consistency, confidence, and achievable progress. Athletes can choose from NICA-focused training plans, custom programs, or one-on-one coaching tailored to their schedule and ambitions.
